What Lex & Finance does

Visas and residence permits
We help you prepare the documents and apply for a visa, a temporary residence permit or a permanent residence permit. The requirements depend on your citizenship and the grounds for your stay.

Company registration
Setting up an SIA, buying a ready-made company, amending registration documents and drafting business contracts.

Accounting and tax
Full or partial bookkeeping, annual reports, tax matters and dealings with the VID. We hold an outsourced accountant licence issued by the VID.

Licences and permits
We help you prepare the documents to apply for a licence or permit, for example in finance, transport or construction.
The Lex & Finance story
Six stages: how the work began, growth, practice areas, registration of the SIA, the VID licence and the firm today.

The work begins
A small team of lawyers, from which Lex & Finance later grew, began its work. The first areas were company law, real estate and immigration. At that point the team had no SIA of its own.

More clients and services
The team grew and the range of services widened. We began working with larger companies and extended the geography of our work.

We standardised our working processes and divided the work into practice areas, so that each matter is handled by the relevant specialist.

SIA Lex & Finance in the Commercial Register
On 30 January 2020 the Register of Enterprises entered SIA Lex & Finance in the Commercial Register. Today we help clients register their own companies in Latvia.

Outsourced accountant licence
On 22 February 2023 the VID issued SIA Lex & Finance an outsourced accountant licence, No. AGL0001078. The responsible outsourced accountant in the VID register is Julija Palcevska (register data as of 28 September 2026).

Today Lex & Finance works beyond Latvia. We help clients register companies in Slovakia and Armenia and obtain residence permits in Armenia, and we support services and transactions in Sweden and the UAE.
